ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
Despite a 27-14 win at previous No. 14-ranked Diablo Valley last Friday, the Bulldogs actually dropped one spot to a tie for the No. 5 spot in this week's California Community College Football Coaches Association State Poll.
The CSM defense held Diablo Valley to just a pair of touchdowns and was relentless in its pressure of DVC quarterback Teddy Booras. Booras, who entered the contest leading Bay 6 QBs in passing yards, TD passes, and quarterback efficiency, was sacked five times, intercepted once, and had four of his passes broken up.
San Mateo relied on the run to control the game and was able to punch the ball in three times for short touchdowns. Malakhi DeMoss' 5-yard TD run with 7:35 left in the fourth quarter sealed the CSM win. DeMoss ran 18 times for 107 yards.

The Foothill defense returned a fumble for a touchdown and Andre Jackson returned a kickoff 100 yards for another TD.
