
Bulldogs get No. 18 seed for Northern California Regional Playoffs
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONAL PLAYOFFS BRACKET
The 2024-25 College of San Mateo women's basketball season will extend to the postseason for the fourth straight time. On Sunday, the Bulldogs were named the No. 18 seed for the upcoming 3C2A Northern California Regional Playoffs.
CSM will travel to No. 15-seed Reedley College for a first-round game on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs enter the playoffs with a 16-11 overall record and recently finished third in the final Coast Conference North Division standings at 6-4 under head coach Michelle Warner.
Last year, the Bulldogs advanced to the second round of the playoffs. CSM defeated Solano College 52-38 in its postseason opener before falling 61-41 at San Joaquin Delta College.
No. 15 Reedley wrapped up its regular season with a 16-12 overall record and finished third in the Central Valley Conference with an 8-4 mark. San Mateo and Reedley will be meeting for the first time this season.
The winner of Wednesday's match up will move on to a second-round game at No. 2 San Joaquin Delta (20-8) on Saturday. Three wins are needed by the Bulldogs to advance to the 3C2A State Championships on March 13-15 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
