ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
CSM rose one spot to No. 6 in this week's California Community College Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA) State Poll after the Bulldogs edged American River College 17-14 at home last week.
Dieter Kelly's 51-yard field goal with 10:50 to go in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner. The 51-yard kick tied a school record. Also equaling a program record was a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Hassan Mihasin that opened the contest and immediately put momentum on San Mateo's side.
Lolo Mataele ran in for his sixth touchdown of the season, a one-yarder, just moments before halftime. He totaled 70 yards rushing on 19 carries.

ABOUT FRESNO CITY
Fresno City College is just one of three unbeaten National Division teams remaining in the state. The Rams moved up one spot to No. 3 in this week's state rankings after their Week 4 victory, a 21-7 win at home over City College of San Francisco.
The game was scoreless in the first half before FCC scored a pair of TDs in the third. Fresno City nearly posted a shutout and led 21-0 late in the fourth quarter before CCSF scored with 30 seconds remaining in the contest. FCC totaled 411 yards of offense and limited CCSF to 190 yards.
The Rams' defense has been solid this season and is allowing just 11 points per game, which is tied for second-best in the state so far.
