
No. 2 state-ranked Bulldogs set to host Reedley in 2024 home opener
SAN MATEO – The defending Northern California champion College of San Mateo Bulldogs will make their 2024 home debut on Saturday at College Heights Stadium when they host the visiting Reedley College Tigers. Kick off for the non-conference game is set for 1 p.m.
Tickets are available online in advance at the CSM TICKETS PAGE. General admission tickets are $12, seniors, children, and veterans are $8 as well as non-CSM students with a school ID.
The game will be live streamed by Bay Area Online Sports Network and can be viewed at BAOSN.TV or the BAOSN app. Fans can also follow along with LIVE STATS during the game.
Before today's game, the CSM Athletic Department will honor longtime scoreboard operator Daniel Eckert with a moment of silence. Daniel, a beloved part of our program, passed away earlier this summer. He was a huge Bulldog supporter and will be greatly missed.
ABOUT THE BULLDOGS
Last week, the No. 2 state-ranked Bulldogs received an early test at No. 21 Sierra College. But CSM didn't break and held on for a 27-26 victory in both teams' season opener at Buzz Ostrom Stadium.
Sophomore running back Lolo Mataele had a break out game for the Bulldogs, scoring three touchdowns while rushing for 113 yards in helping lead CSM to the win. Quarterback Conner Annicharico threw for 216 yards on 15 of 32 passes. His prime target was Hassan Mahasin as he hauled in 9 receptions for 130 yards.
John Gayer had a big game to lead the Bulldogs on defense. He totaled 10 tackles and had a game-high 3 sacks. Kyle Hall and Ezra Funa both had 6 tackles while Nate Abbott and Jeramiah Lewis each added a sack.
Kicker Dieter Kelly knocked in a pair of field goals, hitting from 18 and 24 yards out.

ABOUT REEDLEY
Reedley, out of the National Valley League, is 0-1 after opening the season last week with a 45-17 loss at home to Butte College.
The Tigers actually outgained Butte on total offensive yards, 317-266, but gave up 24 points on special teams (2 kickoff return TDs, 1 punt return TD, 1 field goal) that ultimately led to the loss.
