CSM Football to host fundraising Tom Martinez Golf Event on August 10 (NEW DATE)

Help support the College of San Mateo football team's Built for Life program with a great day of golf. The Bulldogs will host the inaugural Tom Martinez Golf Event on August 10 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with the tourney set to start at noon.

Registration for the fundraising tournament is $225 per golfer or $900 per foursome. Banquet-only tickets are also available for $50.

The price includes a round of golf at the elite Harding Park course, golf cart with your name, a welcome swag bag with branded golf supplies, and a banquet dinner following the golf tournament. Sponsors will also be on-site at holes with free giveaways and promotions.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the CSM Football Built for Life program. The goal of Built for Life is to help young men develop foundational skills like work ethic, resiliency, communication, team work, and humility while emphasizing "WE before ME."

These skills prepare our student-athletes for success not only on and off the field at their four-year university, but also set the foundation for leadership positions in their careers and life. The program believes better men make better Bulldogs, students, athletes, husbands, and fathers.
 
The tournament is named in honor of legendary CSM former head coach Tom Martinez. Martinez spent over 32 years at the college, starting in 1974, and amassed 1,400 career wins over three sports (football, basketball, and softball) while capturing 32 championships.
