Bio

Nicole is the daughter of former two-time Super Bowl champion and 49ers Hall of Famer Tom Rathman. She was born and raised in Redwood City, California where she spent two years at Notre Dame Belmont High School. After her sophomore year, her family relocated to Detroit, Michigan where Nicole finished her high school career at Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School. Following her high school career, Nicole was recruited to play volleyball at San Diego State University and was also recruited to play college basketball at St. John's and chose to accept a volleyball scholarship at SDSU but due to an injury had to give up playing the sport she loved. She then went into coaching and spent seven years at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, California  and took its varsity program to two state title matches and won three CCS title matches in five years. Before jumping on board with the CSM Women's Volleyball program, Nicole spent four years at Mercy Burlingame High School in Burlingame, California
