Bio

Patrick Coffey is a new addition to the College of San Mateo Women’s Basketball coaching staff. Coffey played basketball collegiately for the Colby-Sawyer Chargers in New London, NH. In his time playing at Colby-Sawyer College, Coffey was named to two all-conference teams. He scored 1,580 career points for the Chargers making him seventh all time in school history in that category. Coffey was a two-year captain for both men’s basketball and volleyball, which he also played at Colby-Sawyer.

After graduating from Colby-Sawyer College with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, he looked to continue his playing career while also pursuing a master’s degree at Bournemouth University in Bournemouth, England. The basketball season was canceled due to United Kingdom Covid Restrictions, but Coffey still graduated from Bournemouth University with a master’s in Sport Management.

In the Spring of 2022 Coffey played professional basketball for the Massachusetts Monarchs of The Basketball League.

Coffey most recently coached as the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach at his form High School Westford Academy, in Westford, MA.
