Bio

Allie Stines, a two-time NAIA National Champion enters her third year as an assistant coach for College of San Mateo. 

Stines grew up in San Bruno and graduated from Capuchino High School in 2016. At Capuchino, Stines was a four-year varsity starter. As a junior, she was awarded Co-Player of the Year for the conference, shared with Lauren Quirke. Stines organized two charity softball events during her time at Capuchino and also played volleyball and basketball.

Stines began her collegiate career at CSM where she made two California State Championship appearances in 2017 and 2018. Both seasons she was awarded NFCA All-American, as a catcher her freshman year and as an outfielder her sophomore year. In 2018 she was named Coast Conference Player of the year as well as NorCal Player of the Year. At CSM she completed her Associates of Arts degree in Social Sciences.

Stines went on to continue her athletic and academic career at Southern Oregon University where she competed for three seasons (2019-2021). During her time at SOU, she helped lead her team to win the first two National Championships in program history in 2019 and 2021. Stines was awarded NFCA All-American, two-time NAIA All-American, NFCA Diamond Catcher of the Year, two-time CCC Gold Glove as a catcher and also broke multiple school, conference, and NAIA national records. Just prior to the shortened season, Stines organized another charity softball event, hosting CSM for fall scrimmage games. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education & Leadership and continued her education through 2021 after being granted the extra year of eligibility due to the shortened season in 2020.
