Bio

Coach "JP" bring a ton of Division 1 experience to our program after spending the last 9 years at the Division 1 level. He started his college career at San Jose State as a student assistant working with the LB's in 2010. Knowing that his passion was on the offensive side, he moved over there the following year as a graduate assistant coaching the WR's for both the 2011 and the 2012 seasons. During this time period he coached the #1 and #2 leading WR's in San Jose State history in Chandler Jones and Noel Grigsby. He credits both Terry Malley and Brent Brennan for mentoring him and help molding his coaching style and philosophies. His final year at San Jose State the team finished 11-2 winning the Military Bowl and ending the season being ranked as one of the Top 25 teams in the country.

In 2013 he was hired by Sacramento State where he spent the next 6 seasons as the WR Coach. During his 6 years there he had 13 All-Conference WR's and 1 All-American (DeAndre Carter). Under Coach Pollak's tutelage DeAndre finished his senior season with 99 Receptions 1321 Receiving Yds and 17 TD's this earned him finalist honors for the Walter Payton award. All three statistics are #1 in Sacramento State history for a single season. DeAndre is currently a member of the Houston Texans. During the 2017 season he also coached the #1 and #2 WR's in the nation for yards per reception (Andre Lindsey & Jaelin Ratliff). He was previously with us form '19-'21. During that time he coached 3 All-Americans and 4 All-State WR's. Coach Pollak's coaching philosophy is simple: his objective is to assist in the development of student athletes in a critical point in their lives. Never be out worked or unprepared. He says that he always wants to maintain a professional work ethic while making decisions that are consistent with a high moral code. He currently lives in San Jose with his wife Julie whom he as been married to for 11 years, and their sons Julian and Jameson.
