Bio

Coach Montante is excited to join the CSM coaching staff in 2023. He has 23 years of coaching experience at the high school and junior college level. He has a Master’s in Education with an Emphasis in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri.

Prior to joining CSM, “Coach Mont” was the Head Football Coach at American Canyon High School. In five years at ACHS, they earned a record of 31-19, shared the league championship in 2022, had three playoff appearances, and reached the semi-finals twice.

Before ACHS, Coach Montante was the Offensive Line Coach at Chabot College for one season, where two of his offensive linemen were recognized with all-league honors and was the Offensive Line Coach at Gavilan College for three years, where he added the title of Co-Offensive Coordinator after his first year.

Coach Montante is married to Reina Montante and they have an eight-year-old daughter.
