
Dorn earns All-State honors, leads CSM group of 3 at State Championships
FRESNO – Freshman Ericka Dorn closed out an impressive first season for the College of San Mateo women's cross country team by finishing in 15th place out of 172 runners at the 2024 3C2A State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno.
Dorn, one of three runners representing the Bulldogs at the state championships, cleared the 5,000-meter course with a time of 19:31.1. By finishing among the top-25 at the event, Dorn earned second-team All-State honors.
Freshman teammate Deia Kerseg-Foreman ran a season-best time in the 5K of 20:07.8 to finish a respectable 31st place overall for the women.
Freshman Nathan Loof was the lone Bulldog competing for the CSM men's squad and wrapped up a solid year by finishing in 180th place with a time of 24:48.7 on the 4-mile Woodward Park course.
