
Dorn finishes third for CSM women; Bulldog men take 12th place at Northern California Regionals
SALINAS – Freshman Ericka Dorn finished in third place to lead a trio of College of San Mateo women while the Bulldogs men's cross country team ended in 12th place at the 2024 Northern California Regional Championships on Friday at Toro Park in Salinas.
Dorn cleared the three-mile course with a time of 19:12.9 for third and to earn All-Northern California honors. She was followed by teammates Deia Kerseg-Foreman in 21st place at 20:24.9 and Violeta Vasquez-Lopez in 68th with a time of 23:40.5.
The CSM men totaled 307 points to finish 12th out of the 15-team field. Nathan Loof led the Bulldogs with his 40th place showing, clocking in at 22:27.8 on the four-mile course.
Aria Park was 63rd at 23:19.0, followed by Mariano Beas in 66th with a time of 23:30.8. Other results for the CSM men:

San Mateo will likely advance three runners to the upcoming 3C2A State Championships to close out the season. Dorn and Kerseg-Foreman from the women's squad, as well as Loof on the men's side, should make the trip for the event on Nov. 23 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
