
San Mateo season ends with playoffs loss; Bulldogs earn 7 All-Coast Conference honors
SAN MATEO – Another solid College of San Mateo women's volleyball season came to an end with the No. 8-seeded Bulldogs' 3-1 loss to visiting No. 9 Merced College on Tuesday in the second round of the 2024 Northern California Regional Playoffs.
Aniyah Hall led CSM with 19 kills, Olivia Cooper added 11 kills, and Kathleen Suayan had 17 digs in the season finale.
San Mateo made its sixth straight postseason appearance and closed out 2024 with a 19-8 overall record. Under head coach Katie Goldhahn, the Bulldogs finished second in the Coast Conference South Division at 8-2.
2024 POSTSEASON AWARDS
Sophomore Aniyah Hall racked up the postseason honors for the CSM women's volleyball team to close out an impressive two-year career. Hall was named second-team All-American, All-State, as well as the Coast Conference South Division Most Valuable Player.
The Bulldogs earned a total of seven All-Coast Conference South Division honors:
