CSM Basketball programs to host Bulldog Madness Oct. 12

The College of San Mateo men's and women's basketball teams invite the community to get ready for the upcoming 2024-25 season with an afternoon of great games, contests, and free food at Bulldog Madness on October 12 in the CSM Building 8 gym.

Admission to the event is free! In attendance will be Golden State Warriors game day hype man Franco Finn to host the day's action.

The event begins at noon with the SMDP Explorers vs. CSM Fire Cadets basketball game, followed by the Dizzy Basketball Challenge at 12:30 p.m.

At 12:45 pm, CSM faculty and staff will take to the court in a game for campus bragging rights.

The CSM men's and women's basketball teams take center stage at 1:15 p.m., beginning with a 3-point shooting contest. The women's alumni game follows at 1:30 p.m. before an exciting slam dunk contest at 2:20 p.m. The men's alumni game closes out the day, starting at 2:35 p.m.

Scheduled during halftime and in between events are shooting contests for attending fans.
