
No. 3 Bulldogs roll to seventh straight win, beat MPC 5-0
SAN MATEO – Sierra Pasco smashed a solo home run while Emma Kinder drove in a pair of runs to help lead No. 3 state-ranked College of San Mateo to a 5-0 Coast Conference win over visiting Monterey Peninsula College on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to seven games and improved to 25-2 overall this season while CSM is 6-1 in Coast Conference action.
San Mateo put up single runs in the first three innings of the contest to go out in front 3-0. A two-run sixth-inning, including Pasco's homer, sealed the victory.
Nohemi Livingston was once again solid for the Bulldogs in the circle. She went the distance (7 innings) and allowed just 3 hits while striking out 4. Livingston improved to 16-2 overall. She helped her own cause at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday (Mar. 27) when they travel to Cabrillo College for a 3 p.m. Coast Conference game.
