Grisby's 5 TD tosses leads #1 CSM over COS, 49-21

SAN MATEO –  Anthony Grigbsy threw five touchdown passes as defending state and mythical national champion College of San Mateo turned back visiting College of the Sequoias, 49-21, in the Bulldogs home opener Saturday afternoon.

State top-ranked CSM (2-0) extended the National Division's longest winning streak to eight games. The Bulldogs started the game with three scoring drives completed by Grigbsy with TD tosses of 11 yards (to Jeremiah Patterson) and to Terence Loville (a pair, 50 and 22 yards) before the visiting Giants got on the board on the last play before halftime.

Grigsby, a redshirt freshman, completed 20 of 31 passes for 329 yards to raise his season collegiate efficiency rating to 176.7. He has thrown for 619 yards and seven scores in the first two games.
