Academics

Academics are an extremely vital component of CSM's baseball program. In the past 27 years 318 out of 328 players have transferred to four-year schools or signed professionally. The dedication to the success in the classroom has been a major reason why the Bulldogs have transferred so many players to the next level.

Academic Advising

Coach Doug Williams works as the Bulldogs academic coordinator.  Coach Williams is a counselor and attends monthly meetings with CSM's counseling department to stay up-to-date on transfer issues and requirements. He works with each baseball player to develop a four-semester Student Educational Plan. Coach Williams' knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is a huge benefit to CSM's baseball program. He ensures each athlete is enrolled in the correct courses needed to transfer to the four-year level. CSM baseball players meet with Coach Williams a minimum once a semester to plan courses for the upcoming semester. At any time, a CSM player can meet with Coach Williams to clarify any questions or concerns that arise.
