Coast Conference champion Bulldogs get No. 6 seed for NorCal Playoffs
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONALS BRACKET
College of San Mateo is returning to the postseason for the third straight season.
On Sunday, CSM received the No. 6 seed for the upcoming 2025 Northern California Regional Playoffs. The Bulldogs will host No. 19 Reedley College for a best-of-three-game series that is scheduled to begin on Friday (May 2) at 2:00 p.m. Game 2 is set for Saturday (May 3) at 11 a.m. with a third game, if necessary, to start at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices for the 3C2A postseason event are $12 for general admission and $8 for all identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens age 60 and over, and children under 12 years old. Tickets can be purchased online in advance at the CSM Tickets page.
The Bulldogs recently wrapped up a regular season that saw them capture a share of the Coast Conference North Division championship. San Mateo, Chabot, and Skyline all ended with a 15-5 conference record for the title.
CSM is currently riding a six-game winning streak and brings a 25-13 overall record into the postseason. Second-year head coach Riley Goulding has taken the Bulldogs to the playoffs in both seasons leading the program.
No. 19 Reedley enters the playoffs with a 23-17 overall record and finished second in the Central Valley Conference at 15-9 under head coach Steve Pearse. The Tigers are making their third straight postseason appearance.
San Mateo and Reedley will be facing off for the first time this season. The winner of the opening series will advance to a three-team, double-elimination Super Regional on May 8-10. Winners of the Super Regionals meet in a three-game Regional Finals series on May 16-18 with a trip to the state championships on the line.
The 3C2A State Championships are scheduled for May 24-26 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
