Student-Athlete Transfers
College of San Mateo coaching staff and administration takes pride in the transfer and success rates of our student-athletes. Our mission is to develop both the student and the athlete in preparation for transfer. With transfer rates of over 80 percent and over $1 million dollars received annually in athletic scholarships, our athletic programs continually demonstrate the model of student success which make our student-athletes highly sought after by four-year universities.

Writing in the End Zone
Writing in the End Zone is a Learning Community designed to facilitate student success for student-athletes. Through interdisciplinary collaboration between the coaching staff and English faculty, the program has gained state and national recognition as an effective model to prepare students for transfer.
IX in Action is a Learning Community for our female student-athletes, including our women's basketball, softball, and women's volleyball teams.
