2011 Induction Ceremony

On September 23rd, 2011, hundreds of people gathered at CSM’s newly christened Hall of Fame Plaza to unveil and officially announce the 2011 inductees of the Athletic Hall of Fame. Shortly thereafter, the college held the induction ceremony with more than 350 people in attendance.

Over 90 years of CSM’s athletic legacy was celebrated. The inaugural class included Bill Walsh, Archie Williams, John Madden, Herb Hudson, Jack Avina, Nicole Carroll-Lewis, Bill Ring, Ted Tollner, Neal Dahlen, Bob Rush, Tom Martinez, Bill Dickey, Jenny Freeman, John Noce, Ray Balsley, and Murius McFadden.

The 2011 class of distinguished inductees have achieved impressive credentials: Super Bowl victories, an Olympic gold medal, successful coaching careers and Emmy awards, among many others.

CSM will continue this honor of celebrating its athletic history with future Hall of Fame inductions.
